哇哇哇!!! 只能驚嘆號來形容寶貝這場比賽的表現

連Reuters社都連發三篇報導,而且還一個個用不同程度的形容詞來當標題內容

從一開始的 In-form 到 Perfect 最後升級到 Brilliant

Nadal

寶貝真的是好高興呢!!!

當然相對的......Nadal近期的幾場輸球賽事,球迷都有看,真的很想奉勸蠻牛Nadal

Brilliant Djokovic destroys Nadal

Serbia's Novak Djokovic put in a "perfect" performance after outclassing world number two Rafael Nadal 6-2 6-3 to advance to the Paris Masters final.

..World number three Djokovic, who beat world number one Roger Federer in the Basel final last week, extended a brilliant run of form to set up a final against local favourite Gael Monfils.

"There's not much to say about today's performance except it was perfect, you know, exactly the way I wanted it," said Djokovic.

"I was hitting winners from all over the court and really trying to keep that momentum going during the whole match," he added, summing up a spectacular performance.

Spaniard Nadal, who has not won a title since beating Djokovic in the Rome Masters final in May, looked helpless at times and will now prepare for the November 22-29 World Tour Finals in London featuring the world's top eight players.

"I didn't play badly but he played unbelievable," said Nadal, who leads 14-6 against Djokovic but has now lost their last two meetings.

"It's very difficult for me to beat him when he's playing at that level, especially on a fast indoor court".

The first set was tight until Djokovic earned three break points in the sixth game, firing a backhand winner on the first.

Nadal kept struggling on his serve and went on to offer his opponent three set points with an unforced error two games later. Djokovic hit a return winner on the first, wrapping up the set in 33 minutes.

The 22-year-old Serb stayed on top in the second set, winning the first two games to love and breaking Nadal in the second with a forehand winner.

Nadal, who has won the French Open four times but never this indoor event, could not recover and a near-faultless Djokovic remained in charge until sealing victory with a superb forehand on the first match point after just 76 minutes.

Djokovic thrashes Nadal in Paris semi-final

PARIS (AFP) - In-form third seed Novak Djokovic reached the Paris Masters final after eliminating second seed Rafael Nadal with a comprehensive 6-2, 6-3 victory at the Bercy arena here on Saturday.

Djokovic, who won the Basel tournament last weekend, encountered little resistance from an uncharacteristically subdued Nadal, who is without a title since May.

"There's not much to say about today's performance, except that it was perfect," said a beaming Djokovic.

"It went exactly the way I wanted. Tactically, I did everything I wanted to do before the match. I was very aggressive, took early control of the match and it paid off.

"Today was one of those days when you feel everything is going right, everything is working for you."

The Serb will play the winner of the second semi-final between French 15th seed Gael Monfils and Czech 13th seed Radek Stepanek in Sunday's final.

"He played very well, unbelievable in my opinion," said Nadal.

"When Novak plays at that level it's very difficult to play him, especially on a hard, fast court. I've never played against Djokovic when he's been at this level before."

Djokovic claimed the first break of serve for a 4-2 lead with an inch-perfect backhand winner down the line after an entertaining opening in which neither player was afraid to come to the net.

The 23-year-old world number three then secured the first set in Nadal's next service game with a backhand return that let the Spaniard rooted to the spot.

Nadal had already proved his durability in the tournament by seeing off five match points in his second-round win over Nicolas Almagro and surviving another match point against 14th-seeded countryman Tommy Robredo in round three.

Djokovic, though, is on top of his game at the moment and he broke early in set two for a 2-0 lead with a punishing forehand winner.

Nadal, whose last title came when he beat Djokovic in the final of the Rome Masters, was struggling to contend with his opponent's raking groundstrokes but managed to end a run of seven lost games by holding serve for 3-1.

It was to prove nothing more than a stay of execution, however, as Djokovic served out to reach his 10th final of 2009, sealing victory with his 31st winner of a surprisingly comfortable afternoon.

Nadal sets up Djokovic showdown in Paris
2009-11-13 Friday

PARIS (AFP) - Second seed Rafael Nadal set up a Paris Masters semi-final clash with third seed Novak Djokovic on Friday by defeating title-holder Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 7-5, 7-5.

Djokovic had earlier defeated Robin Soderling of Sweden 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 in the first of the day's quarter-finals to reach the last four in Paris for the first time.

The losses for Tsonga and Soderling meant that Spain's Fernando Verdasco was assured of the eighth and final spot in the November 22-29 ATP Tour Finals in London.

The other players qualified for that are Nadal, Djokovic, Roger Federer, Andy Murray, Juan Martin del Potro, Andy Roddick and Nikolay Davydenko.

Frenchman Tsonga was seeking to become the first man to successfully defend the prestigious Bercy title that traditionally brings down the curtain on the ATP regular season.

And he got off to a storming start in front of a packed Bercy Stadium by holding his serve to love and then procuring two break points on Nadal's following serve.

But he was unable to convert any of those as the gritty Nadal, who saved five match points against Nicolas Almagro in the third round on Wednesday and narrowly escaped against Tommy Robredo on Thursday, hung on to level.

Tsonga, hugely popular with the Paris fans, let slip three more break points in the sixth game and was made to pay the price five games later when a resurgent Nadal grabbed the first break of the match with a stinging forehand drive that the net-bound Tsonga volleyed long.

The Spaniard duly pocketed the set on his own serve.

The second set followed a near identical pattern to the first with Tsonga holding serve comfortably earlier on and Nadal having a harder time of it.

But once again in the 11th game, Tsonga's concentration wavered resulting in a rash of unforced errors that handed Nadal the break of serve he needed.

The Spaniard had no trouble putting the match away as Tsonga's game fell apart and the title he won superbly last year was taken from him.

"Easy the best match I have played here," said Nadal, who is without a tournament win since May as he has battled injuries and loss of form.

"It's the fifth straight semi-final for me so I am there all the time and when you are there all the time one day you will win.

"But he (Djokovic) is the player who is playing the best at this part of the season so he will be the favourite."

Djokovic's win over Soderling wrecked the Swede's hopes of a first-ever appearance in the ATP World Tour Finals in the first of the quarter-finals.

Soderling, who made the final of the French Open the last time he played in Paris in June, went into the match knowing that he needed to at least reach the final here to clinch the remaining spot in the season-ending tournament.

But having lost all four of his previous encounters with the young Serb, the Swede knew he would have to produce something special.

He did just that in the second set which he won 6-1 after dropping the first, but in a tense decider he was the first to crack on serve in the eighth game when two unforced errors on the backhand side followed by a double fault gave Djokovic three break points.

Soderling saved the first of these, but then netted a weak backhand to hand the break to the third seed who made no mistake in serving out for the match.

To get past Nadal though Djokovic says he will need to fight off the fatigue that is setting in on him after a hectic year.

"I've been playing more than 90 matches this year and now two weeks in a row.

"Suddenly my metabolism is getting a little bit tired. It's all normal.

"I just hope that I can recover for the upcoming challenge."

In other quarter-final action Gael Monfils kept home hopes alive with a closely-fought 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 win over Marin Cilic of Croatia.

In the semi-finals he will play Radek Stepanek of the Czech Republic who made it through when US Open champion Juan Martin del Potro of Argentina abandoned when 0-4 down in the first set.
