Carlo Ancelotti is being widely linked with a summer change of scene with Real Madrid and Chelsea both possible destinations.
The Sun claims that a deal has been agreed with Chelsea, while the Spanish Press maintain that Real are still interested in securing Carletto's services.
The presence of Van Basten in Milan last weekend, where he dined with Galliani and other Rossoneri figures, has sent the rumour mill into overdrive.
“Van Basten was only here to play golf,” Galliani maintained in the Corriere dello Sport.
However, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Van Basten left a restaurant via a window to escape the Press after eating with Galliani, Ariedo Braida and Ancelotti's assistant Tassotti.
While Van Basten has stated that he wants to take some time away from football, Milan patron Silvio Berlusconi has said that he is “like a son” and the Italian Press are convinced he is in the frame for the San Siro bench.
