真是沒想到大安迪碰上今日的寶貝會如此辛苦的慘敗

Tsonga vs Raonic 6-3  3-6 25-23

決勝盤竟然打了180分鐘 總長為237分鐘

Tsonga through in record-breaking Olympic epic

Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga dug deep to outlast Canadian Milos Raonic 25-23 in the final set of an epic Olympic tussle that echoed the famous Wimbledon 2010 marathon between John Isner and Nicolas Mahut.

In the longest three-set match in Olympic tennis history, fifth seed Tsonga prevailed 6-3 3-6 25-23 in three hours and 57 minutes to reach the last 16. The third set alone lasted three hours.

American Isner and Frenchman Mahut memorably fought each other to a standstill on Wimbledon's grasscourts before Isner won 6-4 3-6 6-7 7-6 70-68 in an astonishing 11 hour five minutes battle.

Tsonga still found the energy to skip around the court kissing his shirt in celebration.

"For me it's good because this is the only way to write my name in the history for the moment," a smiling Tsonga said.

Djokovic drubs Roddick in 2nd round at Olympics

WIMBLEDON, England (AP) -- Novak Djokovic outclassed Andy Roddick in the second round of the Olympics at Wimbledon Tuesday, beating him 6-2, 6-1 under the Centre Court roof.

The drubbing was a dismal result for Roddick, whose declining fortunes in recent months have left him fending off questions about retirement.

Djokovic closed out the victory with consecutive aces. Roddick then quickly left the court where he lost three Wimbledon finals, and was noncommittal about the possibility he won't be back.

"It's not close to my mind right now," the 29-year-old Roddick said. "That's not something that I'm going to talk about."

Djokovic breezes past Roddick into last 16

LONDON (Reuters) - Novak Djokovic barely broke sweat to dismiss former grand slam winner Andy Roddick 6-2 6-1 in less than an hour on Tuesday as he continued his quest to better his Beijing bronze medal.

"Today everything was working perfectly well and I was neutralizing his serve by getting a lot of returns back in the court and serving a lot of aces," said 25-year-old Djokovic.

"You're not playing for yourself like you are most of the time throughout the year. This is one of the unique events, unique opportunities to play for your country and the nation is cheering for you."

Djokovic trounces Roddick to advance to Olympics third round

By MARC BERMAN

WIMBLEDON – Andy Roddick’s Olympics are over after getting obliterated by Serbian machine Novak Djokovic Tuesday 6-2, 6-1 in second round play at The All-England Club at Wimbledon.

As Djokovic preened to the crowd after match point, Roddick walked off immediately, head down, waving his racket to the cheering crowd only as he disappeared from view. There’s speculation Roddick is mulling retirement and that this could be his last match on the famous lawns.

Djokovic was a monster from the baseline and Roddick could never get into the match. Djokovic drilled a couple of return-of-serve crosscourt forehand winners in which Roddick didn’t even move.

He was seeing it like a basketball today,’’ Roddick said.

In the match’s highlight, with Djokovic serving for the match, Roddick hit a lovely drop shot that looked like a clear winner .Djokovic raced in put it away with his backhand to thrill the crowd. Roddick stared in disbelief from the baseline and shouted something at the Serbian, who has warred with Roddick at the U.S. Open. But the sentiment was complimentary.

It was one of the best drops shots I ever hit – I don’t pull it off that often and I didn’t appreciate it,’’ Roddick said when asked what he yelled at Djokovic.

Roddick said he didn’t want to answer regarding his future plans other than he’s bolting London for Toronto to get ready for a U.S. Open tuneup.

When asked if this could have been his last dance at the All-England Club, Roddick said, “I don’t know. I’m not going to answer that. It’s far from my mind.’’

Roddick had won two of his last three tour events and came in with some buzz. With a best-of-3 Olympic format , there was hope the shorter matches could be an equalizer with Roddick’s ability to get sizzling hot on his serve for two sets. But this match was sobering and perhaps a foreshadow.

I feel like it’s extremes with me right now. When I win one, it’s like career appreciation day,’’ Roddick said. “If I lose one, it’s take him out to the field and shoot him in the head. I don’t think it’s either. I’m playing as well as I have this year so far in the last four, five weeks. Just try to forget about it and get back to the U.S. Open series.’’
